MIT Visit To STL
We had the privilege of hosting guests from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s leading institutions in technology and research. The team included Ari Jacobovits, Managing Director of Africa Programs at MIT, Eduardo Maristany, and Rahel Getachew.
During their visit to our STL facility, we engaged in discussions that revolved around exploring research and development collaborations. The primary focus of these discussions was on the semiconductor industry, which plays a crucial role in driving technological advancements across various sectors.
The MIT team was given a tour of our facility, where they had the opportunity to interact with our engineers, witness our advanced manufacturing processes, and gain valuable insights into our journey as a one-of-its-kind semiconductor technology company in Kenya. The visit provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and fostered meaningful connections between the two institutions.
Through joint research and collaborative initiatives, we aim to push the boundaries of semiconductor technologies, fuel innovation, and contribute to the socioeconomic development of Africa. Together, we are shaping the future of semiconductor technologies and making significant strides toward a brighter and more prosperous Africa.
