We were privileged to host  H.E Rigathi Gachagua, H.E. Mark Dillard and Hon Mutahi Kahiga for the launch of OL’BORANA the first advanced semiconductor manufacturing System built in Kenya. Capital equipment manufacturing is one of our major focus areas. The highly advanced machine is capable of layering multiple materials in the same pristine processing environment. Ol’ Borana will advance nanotechnology R&D, it is a production-level system, it will support wafer production.

The Deputy President talked about the new strategies the Government has in place to support such institutions that create employment and encourage the youth to be innovative. He further commended the team behind the building of OL’BORANA as this will propel the country in technology. We continue to partner with the National and county government to create alliances that open doors to regional and international markets and to the development of game-changing infrastructure.
