The semiconductor industry is a large industry with a supply chain estimated at over $550B (2022) and estimated to exceed  $1trillion by 2030. It spans many different technologies and vertical businesses. STL designs equipment and solutions that address several critical areas of semiconductor chip processing.

On December 19, 2022, STL launched the first advanced Semiconductor Processing machine, Ol’ Borana, which was designed and built in Kenya.
